Client Inquiry: Adobe vs. SDL on Pricing
Q: We’re very deep into this consulting project, and we don’t have any proof that SDL Tridion can supply what Adobe provides in the Social Communities product. Where on their price list is this accounted for?
A: Within SDL Tridion, there’s a data collection mechanism called the “Ambient Data Framework” that aggregates data of all kinds, including social. This is the part of the Tridion product that makes possible what Adobe referred to in their “Social Communities” part of the RFP response. While Adobe lists this as a separate module, SDL includes it in the core application.
